Welcome again

Here we are one more time. This year we have some novelties: first of all we are in the Bilingüal Programme and this is a big challenge, on the other hand we are involved in two Comenius projects. One is about Solidarity and is called "Beleiving in Humanity" and the other is about the importance of harbour cities and their social, economic and cultural influence. That means we are going to be very busy.
Regarding the implementation of our bilingual section we have created a page on the website of our department for this section to meet the needs of the programme and, of course, to help our 1ºESO students who begin this experience. That is why I have dedicated a page within the previous one. We invite you to visit it and begin your journey now.

Bilingual Program for our school

By Order of July 1st 2011 our school has been ascribed to the bilingual education program in secondary education.
We are very proud of it and we are looking forward to the start of this new stage that will give more quality to our school.

A wonderful on line dictionary and thesaurus.

Thanks to an English teacher who is now following this blog, Joan Rubies, I have had the opportunity to know this wonderful tool. I also recommend to visit his blog, full of good ideas and tools for learning English.

Memidex is a free online dictionary and thesaurus.
Memidex reaches a new total of 12.5 million external reference links and 1.8 million etymology references.
Each audio reference has a button to play the audio directly from the Memidex web page.
