A memorable day on PhotoPeach
This is our next project.
You have to create a story describing an event in the past. First you write your memorable story and the you look for the photos you want to use. Then you go to http://photopeach.com/home and follow the instructions on the site to create your own slideshow. We will do an example in class next Thursday and then you start! Finally you upload your works to your blogs and that's it.

As you know I have had a small accident and I will be a few days of rest due to a sprain, meanwhile I leave a fun musical gem to enjoy awhile, not everything was going to be English!

A wall of books
23 April is World Book and Copyright Day.
A'literary' wall has been created on Pinterest by Mª Jesús García San Martín, an English teacher, to celebrate this day.
You are invited to take part in this activity.Visit the site and write your own comments and likes. The activity consists of including your favourite book and write why you like it. You could pin any book or title, a favourite from childhood, a current book or something you’ve read and enjoyed.Click here to go to the site
It is a wonderful idea and I want to congratulate Mª Jesús for such a splendid activity to encourage reading.

A new eTwinning project: Enlivening our libraries
We have started a new project on eTwinning, its name "Enlivening our libraries". It is the continuation of our Comenius project that we have carried out over two years, "Reading for travelling through the paths of life", which was intended to encourage reading and make our library a place of meeting with activities which motivate our students to read. Our Department has special interest in participating in this project because it involves using English as a vehicle for communication among the different countries and because we are convinced of the importance of reading to develop not only the language but the knowledge of the different cultures involved. We hope that you, our students, will be interested in this project and participate in the activities that we will be proposing.
