The singer is a professor of chemistry at the Cartagena Technical University, and has a rock band. She's the girl who came to the school to give our 4th ESO students a sexual orientation talk. José Luis is entering a contest to play at the SOS, his video is great. Our next task consists of recording your voice by using Soundcloud and then embed it on your glogster. The content of this recording will be your daily routines for 1º ESO and for 2º Bachillerato it will deal with the explanation of your routines to explain our costumes to the European students who we are working with in our Comenius project called "Believing in Humanity". You can add pictures, videos and comments to your glog as well as this recording that is going to be done on Thursday.

Listen and decide

You will hear a man and a woman ordering a meal in a restaurant. Listen to what they order. I recommend to hear the listening twice. After you have finished, write down the answers to the questions you have in the second page of the exercise I embedded for you yesterday, I mean the one which is just below this one.I suppose you have already downloaded it. If you haven't, just guess the answers.

Listening to a song

This is a song written in memory of Janis Joplin by the great singer Joan Baez. I've built this exercise for you to practise the listening skill while you enjoy this beautiful music. Janis Joplin was a wonderful singer who died when she was 27 because of her drug abuse. It was a sad and lonely death. I'm working on her life to talk about her in class one of these days. I hope you like it as much as I do.
