My dear students, our tool AULA XXI has changed this year and it doesn't work properly so far. We need to keep in contact so we will do it by email and through our website, we hope everything is fixed soon.

Theatre in English

On 10th November we will attend a play in English at the Centro Cultural Ramon Alonso Luzy . All ESO is invited to participate, we hope your attendance.
You know that the play will be easy and fun and worth doing that immersion in English, 
You will learn while enjoying! 
Do not forget to bring the permission form filled by your parents on Wednesday to class!

Design a poster for road safety in Europe

Poster Contest
     

The European Commission needs your creativity to spread a message about responsible driving among young people.

The winning poster will be translated into all 23 official EU languages, it ​​will be distributed in 27 European countries, and used in a campaign in Brussels, and possibly in similar campaigns in other Member States.

The winner will receive a prize of 2000 € and will be invited to the ceremony on November 24, 2011, in Brussels.

The contestants in the second and third place will receive a prize of 1000 € each, which will be notified by mail.

Welcome again

Here we are one more time. This year we have some novelties: first of all we are in the Bilingüal Programme and this is a big challenge, on the other hand we are involved in two Comenius projects. One is about Solidarity and is called "Beleiving in Humanity" and the other is about the importance of harbour cities and their social, economic and cultural influence. That means we are going to be very busy.
Regarding the implementation of our bilingual section we have created a page on the website of our department for this section to meet the needs of the programme and, of course, to help our 1ºESO students who begin this experience. That is why I have dedicated a page within the previous one. We invite you to visit it and begin your journey now.

As everybody knows we have designed a new site for our English Department and we hope it will be useful both for our students and teachers. We are looking forward to you participation: it is OUR site and the more involved we get the better it will be.

ATENCIÓN TUTORÍA!

Con motivo de la celebración del 9 de Mayo DÍA DE EUROPA, la Concejalía de Juventud del Ayuntamiento de Cartagena convoca para este año 2009, la II Edición del Concurso ¿Qué sabes de Europa? dirigido a estudiantes de todos los IES de Cartagena.
El concurso consiste en realizar un trabajo LIBRE en donde quede reflejado vuestro conocimiento sobre Europa.
El formato del trabajo será libre: fotografía, pintura, puzzle, mural, power point, teatro, danzas, artes plásticas, gráficas, etc.
Los trabajos se podrán aceptar tanto en español como en cualquier otro idioma perteneciente a la Unión Europea.
INSCRIPCIÓN: Hasta el 25 de Marzo de 2009
ENTREGA TRABAJO: Hasta el 5 de Mayo de 2009

Nuevos documentos

He puesto unos documentos a vuestra disposición para que repaseis y comprobeis vuestro progreso de cara al control que tenéis el martes, tanto los de 1º de Bachillerato como los de 3º de Diversificación. Os vendrá bien practicar lo que habéis estudiado. Los tenéis en la barra de la derecha y los podéis bajar al ordenador para trabajarlos.See you on Tuesday.

Enhorabuena a los profes YA funcionarios

YA lo habéis conseguido! ahora a disfrutar de vuestra situación que ya habéis pasado bastante aunque, como ya sabéis, la tarea que tenéis por delante tampoco es fácil, pero es lo que hemos elegido y puede ser realmente gratificante sobre todo si se hace con ilusión. Un beso a todas y a él!

Mañana haré entrega de los diplomas a los que han aprobado esta Primera Evaluación, son chulísimos y además AVISO!último día de entrega de trabajos para 1º de Bachillerato!

De vuelta!

FELIZ 2009 a todos! Mañana nos vemos en el insti y volvemos a la carga, espero que con ganas después de las vacaciones.Así, en principio, no apetece mucho pero en cuanto empecemos será coser y cantar, ya veréis (al menos eso me digo yo a mí misma para animarme a retomar la tarea).

Queridos profes "casi" funcionarios

Ha sido un placer trabajar con vosotros, y no es una fórmula. Me ha encantado compartir con vosotros estas horas y disfrutar de vuestro interés y atención. Sois unos alumnos magníficos y muy magnánimos. Muchas gracias por vuestra evaluación y por el calor que me habéis transmitido. Espero que lo de la "copita" el martes o así, sea una realidad, ya me diréis. Tenemos que seguir en contacto para intercambiar nuestras experiencias, yo también he aprendido de vosotros y me ha resultado muy enriquecedora vuestra compañía.Hasta pronto.

Sesión de liderazgo

El pasado lunes tuvimos otra sesión, esta vez de estrategias para "controlar" la situación. ¿Os gustó? No comenté con nadie a la salida y, por tanto, no me enteré de vuestras opiniones, pero no estaría mal que me dijéseis algo. Sabéis que lo podeis hacer de forma anónima, ya sé que hicísteis la evaluación y que Loli se ha enterado, pero yo no, y teniendo en cuenta que tengo que participar en la evaluación final... pues eso que me gustaría saber qué os pareció. Por cierto también quisiera comentarios de la anterior, aunque en esa yo no estuve y no tengo referencias pero, precisamente por eso estoy más interesada. Hacedme el favor de ponerme algo, vale?
